Town Policy Regarding Lawn Irrigation Systems
It is the policy of the Town regarding lawn irrigation systems that if piping and sprinkler heads are placed in the Town’s right-of-way (generally, 12 feet from the back side of the street curb) the home owner takes the responsibility if damaged by a utility or the Town. The Town, however, will take all precautions of the homeowner’s system and give 3 days notice to the property owner so they may have their system located.
