Recycling pickup day has been confusing since the ice storm. Recycling pickup day is this Tuesday, March 1, 2011 and the schedule is every other Tuesday, from that day will be the day recycling will be picked up. Heavy trash item (one) is the first Tuesday of every month. Any additional heavy item that a resident needs picked can make araingements with Republic Services of Indiana, at an additional fee, by calling 917-7300 extension 0. Electronics such as TV’s, computers, monitors etc. can not be picked by Republic Services of Indiana. The Johnson County Solid Waste District can accomodate these items.
