The Town of Whiteland, Indiana currently owns and operates its Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Wastewater Treatment Plant is of activated sludge design with a capacity of 840,000 gallons per day.

NOTICE FOR WHITELAND UTILITIES CUSTOMERS RE: UNSIGNED AND POSTDATED CHECKS WHITELAND UTILITIES CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT UNSIGNED AND/OR POSTDATED CHECKS TO PAY FOR UTILITY PAYMENTS. THE TOWN HAS RECENTLY CHANGED BANKS AND THE NEW BANK WILL NOT ACCEPT THESE INSTRUMENTS AS DESCRIBE. THE CHECKS WILL BE RETURNED TO CUSTOMER AND THE CUSTOMER WILL BE LIABLE FOR LATE FEES AS A RESULT OF THE, EITHER, UNSIGNED OR POSTDATED CHECKS. THIS IS THE POLICY OF THE WHITELAND UTILITIES AS OF SEPTEMBER 10, 2007.

To contact the Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel with any concerns or problems with the sanitary sewer system or to report an alarm sounding at a Whiteland Sanitary Lift Station, see below.
The Whiteland Wastewater Treatment Plant has Class "A" Sludge that could be used in gardens and planting beds to enrich the soil to produce great products, whether it be fruit and vegetables or flowers and plants. This is a give-a-way program that can be picked up at the Plant. Contact us see below.
