Redevelopment Commission Position

The Town of Whiteland is accepting applications for those wanting to serve on the Whiteland Redevelopment Commission (RDC). The successful candidate will be appointed by the Town Council for a one year annual term. The meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.

The Redevelopment Commission’s 6 member board is charged with encouraging economic development opportunities in Whiteland by aiding new development and the redevelopment of underutilized sites. The Commission’s primary tool is the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district, which they oversee in conjunction with the Town Council.
