Notice from the Republican Party Chairman – Beth Boyce

We are posting this at the request of the Republican Party Chairman, Beth Boyce.  

Verbiage from letter received on 1/5/19: 

James Klenner has resigned as a member of the Whiteland Town Council – Ward 2, effective December 21.  We would like to thanks James for his service to our Party and the Town of Whiteland.

By statute, as Republican County Chairman, I must call a caucus of the Precinct Committeeman that is, the committeemen in precincts – Clark 3, Pleasant 1, 2, 3, 21, 31, 41 and Franklin 8.  The Precinct Committeeman who has been in office at least 30 days before the date of the vacancy is eligible to vote.

The caucus will be held on Tuesday evening, January 22 at 7:00 PM in the Whiteland Town Hall.  The purpose of the caucus will be to fill the vacancy of the Whiteland Town Council At-Large.

Any person who lives on Ward 2 (Pl 2, 21, 31 and FR 8) in the Town of Whiteland and who would like to be elected by this caucus to serve the remainder of the term (ends Dec. 31, 2019), should send a letter to me postmarked no later than 72 hours before the time of the caucus (i.e. by January 19 at 7:00 PM EST).  Please mail the letter to my house at 845 Richart Lane, Greenwood 46142.
