Trash Removal, Recycling, and Heavy Trash Pickup:

The Whiteland Town Council has accepted the bid of Republic Services, Inc. to be the contractor for trash collection, recycling, and heavy trash pickup and disposal. The program is depicted in a brochure provide by Republic. The program will start Tuesday August 5, 2008 and Tuesdays will be the normal trash pickup day.Click here to see the brochure. A copy of this brochure will be mailed the week of July 7, 2008. The trash service will be billed on the Whiteland Utilities monthly bill cards. Heavy trash pick up will be the first Tuesday of each month.

Currently the trash fee for 1 trash cart & 1 recycle cart is $12.05 per month. If an extra trash cart is needed the charge is an extra $1.50 per month. Please call Republic Services to order these extra carts at 1800-234-6881 extension 0.
