We are all experiencing something we never have before and know that everyone’s needs are changing on a daily basis.  We will work to guide residents to resources within our community during this time of need.  This list is meant to serve as a guide and does not encompass all of the resources available.

State Resources

  • Governor’s Stay At Home Order (3/24/20)
  • Unemployment Benefits – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is reminding Hoosiers that applying for unemployment insurance benefits can be completed electronically. Hoosiers can apply on a computer or smart phone. For more information on unemployment insurance, visit
  • SNAP, TNF, Medicaid – The Indiana Division of Family Resources operates at least one physical office in every Indiana county and, in order to serve Hoosiers in need, those offices remain open for business. However, in an effort to keep social contact to a minimum and prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), DFR strongly urges Hoosiers to consider submitting applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or health coverage (Medicaid) online. Applications can be submitted at Health coverage applications can also be completed by calling 800-403-0864. 
  • WIC – Indiana WIC remains committed to serving families and continuing daily operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please be aware WIC local agencies have been given the flexibility to complete WIC appointments over the telephone.  Link to Women, Infant and Children Program. 
  • Indiana Housing AuthorityLink to the Indiana Housing Authority and how they are addressing the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • Indiana 2-1-1 –  Indiana 2-1-1 website 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that helps Hoosiers across Indiana find the local resources they need. Dial 2-1-1 to connect with a navigator. We’re here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Click here to visit their website.
