COVID-19 Spring Clean Up Heavy Trash Pick Up Service
COVID-19 has brought about a lot devastation in our Nation. From the terrible loss of life that some have encountered along with the social economic effects encountered broadly. Our prayers certainly go to all individuals and families going thru these trying times. Due to your extended period of time at home complying with the necessary Executive Stay At Home order by Governor Holcomb. We are adding this temporary service to promote healthy physical activity while maintaining safe social distancing We will be implementing a temporary additional service of heavy trash pickup beyond what our typical weekly Republic Trash service provided to our citizens. Please see the list below of acceptable materials for pickup. ABSOLUTELY NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. Any questions regarding what materials are acceptable please call (317) 535-5531.
This service will be performed by the Town of Whiteland Staff and equipment. Some of the limitations seen with our usual trash service will be removed thru our Temporary Special Service of Heavy Trash Pick-up performed by our personnel. We understand that some citizens are at home more now than they have ever experienced due to this crisis and can maybe accomplish some tasks that they wanted to get done for a long time, that previously time didn’t permit, Our hopes are we assist in some of these desired tasks.
This temporary service will be for 3 weeks, 2 days a week.
Week 1 – Wednesday, April 15th and Thursday, April 16th 2020
Week 2 – Wednesday, April 22nd and Thursday, April 23rd 2020.
Week 3 – Wednesday, April 29th and Thursday, April 30th 2020.
We are taking prudent safety measures to protect our staff from exposure during this time in all aspects.
All Items Must be from Residents of the Town of Whiteland.

- Furniture
- Carpeting
- Bulk Items
- Appliances – (Which do not contain refrigerants- No Refrigerators)
- Rubbish
- Various Yard Debris
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS- ABSOULETLY NO PAINTS, CHEMICALS OR ANY KIND OF LIQIUDS
